Stationery Guide

Your go-to resource from choosing the right printing methods and paper options to understanding the timeline of the entire process. This guide is very helpful when deciding what direction you would like to go with your wedding stationery.

PRINTING METHODS

Digital

The standard printing method due of its cost efficiency- also referred to as flat printing because it produces smooth prints without raised or indented impressions.

Letterpress

Created with a printing press that literally presses an inked custom-made plate of the design into paper to create an indented impression.

Foil

Rather than using ink, foil printing will press a custom-metal plate with metallic foil into the paper. This creates an indented impression with a metallic finish.

DESIGN PROCESS

After you have submitted the inquiry form and we have chatted on a quick booking call to discuss any details and directions you may have in mind, as well as budgeting and production options, you will receive a tailored proposal to choose printing methods, paper, and embellishments. Once your selections along with your preferred start date have been submitted you’ll receive the contract and invoice for deposit payment to confirm your booking and get started!

You'll receive both questionnaires on the start date that is agreed upon, which will help us gather all the necessary details and text for your project. The information questionnaire will allow you to fill in all of the details needed to be printed on your invites, as well as any wording preferences. The design questionnaire will be your opportunity to describe your vision and go into thorough detail about the overall look that is desired.

The next step will be delving into bringing your vision to life through design. You will receive a mood board, sketch, and a more accurate mockup rendering of your digital design proof. All of these forms and attachments will be accessible through your client portal, where you will also be able to submit any feedback before we move forward with revisions.

We will continue to fine-tune the proofs until they meet your satisfaction, and hopefully also exceed everyone’s expectations. Unlimited rounds of revisions are allowed, however complete design makeovers are limited to 2 with no additional charges following your first proofs. It’s rare, but If needed, any additional design makeovers are $50 to cover for design time.

Following your final approval on the designs, they will be sent to our trusted print and production partners! Upon receiving these materials from the talented vendors we work with, you will have the option to add on our assembly and stamping service. With assembly, all the pieces will be put together flawlessly, so your vision comes to life just as you imagined.

Once your keepsake designs are ready, they will be shipped to the address of your choice for self-mailing or they will be mailed out by me, depending on which mailing option you prefer. So, whether you're ready to get hands-on or prefer to kick back and relax, we've got the mailing covered. Your designs are on their way, and I can't wait for you to unwrap the magic!
